Notting Hill Carnival 2010 London

Uncontrollable crowds, pretty (and not so pretty) women dressed up in almost nothing – and beautiful feathery costumes, jerky chicken, African/Jamaican music – what else can it be, but none other than Europe’s biggest street carnival – the Notting Hill Carnival!

And did i mention the crowd was uncontrollably crazy? i think i did. Here’s a picture for now, may be i’ll upload more when i get time to edit them!

All in all, it was really a fun day. May be we walked all the way from Paddington to Notting Hill Gate, where we circled around the route of the carnival for hours and hours, and then subsequently ended in Shepards Bush at the Westfield shopping mall. Yes, a very interesting day. I have loads more pictures, but will post them when i do get some time. No promises though, i might never do it all. But you never know!

there was this picture which was quite interesting. She looked quite good. but then didn’t seem that ‘happy’ if you know what i mean. i’ve added a colour tone via a filter which adds a mood to the picture as well. but then again, it’s art. my art.
